One of the best cabinets I’ve had in for some time! a totally stunning housekeepers cupboard in great condition given its age.
Large upper cupboard over a spacious four drawer setup, structurally sound with all the wear in all the right places, some damage to the left hand foot but ok.
Dates to 1830 to 1840 round about the William IV period, looking at it this piece you would look at it and think George III or even Victorian but definitely fits in with the transitional time between the two eras.
Been altered over the years with the Victorian knobs a special piece ready to go, looks Welsh (I may be wrong) with elements of oak, pine and fruitwood a sturdy and exceptionally heavy piece.
So very versatile in today’s homes and if I had the space myself I’d have it in a smart kitchen environment, please be quick as tomorrow it’s going on the website for more money.
